Except our result! These types of results happen all the time - we only become more aware of them in our position….there will be a lot more ups and downs between now and the end of the season.

Agree. Standings at this point are meaningless. History tells you that you need to get close to 40 points if you expect to survive and that will be the case this season. They got 3 points closer to that today in a game where a loss was expected. Good first step.

Exactly. 35-36 points has been the average needed for survival in the Premier League era believe it or not. However I think this season will maybe be 38-40 looking at how congested it is down there although that can change massively within the space of 5 games.
