If he came back, I'd see him doing a Sunderland with us. I rate him as a manager, I think he's better than Lampard. But a Moyes return leading to relegation would be peak Everton.
Yeah but Sunderland im sure were in more of a mess then Frank/Moshiri currently has us, could be wrong on that, but if you look at the rest of his time as manager, he is actually doing better right now win% wise them he did at Everton

Yeah, I think he's a decent manager and his football is nowhere near as negative as Lampard's, but I'm just not into going back to dour Davey.

Heartening to see Martinez all the way down there anyway. Reckon Belgium flopping so badly at the World Cup has made the prospect of Bill demanding his appointment completely untenable. If they’d gone out at the quarters I reckon he’d have given it a go.

I’m struggling to get enthusiastic about any of them

I hope Lampard gets a few wins quick because I really like him and think with time and backing he’ll build a good team and start getting us up the table.

I think almost no matter what happens though our next manager will be Rooney whenever that may be.

Personally I cannot see a world in which Lampard is our manager at the end of this season, as much as I like him and would love him to succeed. And there’s no way Rooney is his replacement in that instance.
