Otherwise they then lose to Arsenal and Man. City away on horizon and they're stuck below 30 points with only 5-6 games to go.

There's four I think are winnable. That makes 35 which Villa stayed up on in 2020 and Bradford in 2000.

Still, if they go down, I won't be surprised.

That's probably fair, but 5 where they wont win any. They would have to win each of those 4 to get to 35 points. That's their upper limit IMO, with an awful goal difference.

I think some teams start to implode now IMO.

Those 4 games highlighted means they probably will still get out of this then.

They have won 1 away game all season, cant see them winning 2 or 3 in the next 6. Look at their home fixtures too

It's the sort of defeat that saps all confidence. A bit like us V Brighton. You knew Lampard was done then.

They dont win away games mate. I'm not convinced they win 2 or 3 away games now. They may get some draws.

That City game in hand is actually scheduled for after the Palace game. Get a humping there just before Man U at home, and they could be in serious trouble.

Up to this stage Europe has been offering them a boost in confidence, but this far into the season the physical demands of a long campaign are going to take their toll.

I still think they are the ones to watch, both Moyes and the players just looked utterly lost at times in that match tonight.

Lets face it, they scraped past S'ton - the worst team in the PL this season.
