Several supposedly well connected and respected journos in Brazil come out and decide to all randomly link a young player who is yet to make his debut (and cant yet sign for english teams) to us?

I cant personally see it.

Pretty weird for a Brazilian youth player to start randomly liking Everton players on Instagram the day after we’re initially linked with him in the media...

I’d say more there is more chance of your post being wham than the above being a completely random occurrence.

Fair enough, there may be some reason to link him to us but I still think there's no chance of us signing him.

Admit there probably is something in the links but I remember us getting linked to another Brazilian youngster a few seasons ago. Would be great if we did sign him, just can't see it happening.
