Transfer Rumour Reinier Jesus

He's looked more comfortable than the game Wednesday. He had a dribble where he went past a couple and played in the forward who pulled the shot well wide. I'd like to see him get a run of games but it's good for him to be playing at his age at all.

How’s he looked?
Seemed composed in tight spaces and had a few decent bits of link up play around the edge of the box. Also made some pretty decent runs and found space alot, didnt get much of the ball though as the players around him didnt really look to find him.

As @TheBigIguana said, he should've had an assist but the striker fluffed it

I know we can't register him until he turns 18 but he can still sign ahead of that right? As in, can we sign him now and loan him back until the winter window opens or have him sign a contract now that begins 1/1?

Not sure on the laws but nobody can sign legally binding contracts until they’re 18 can they ?

Depends on the law in each country... But I think FIFA have something in place now that players can't transfer outside of their home country until they're 18. Probably to prevent cases like we used to have in Belgium where bus loads of west African teenagers would be dumped in lower league clubs by agents, with the talented ones having a career and the ones nobody wanted ending up destitute.

yeah these sign when they turn 18 deals, are technically not binding, but they must have something legal in them as if they get gazumped down the line, the original club who made the agreement has to get paid off

for example Watford have a transfer lined up with Fluminense for 'the next Richarlison' and i remember reading a while back that other big clubs in Europe were looking at him, in fact

"Watford agreed a deal in principle with Fluminense for Joao Pedro in 2018, but the Premier League side have to wait until January 2020 - when he's 18 - before officially signing for the Hornets.

Despite this, Liverpool have been named as one of a number of clubs still interested in the forward, which could see Fluminense lose out financially. Due to a 'breach clause' in the agreement, Watford would receive €20m of any transfer fee should he not move to Vicarage Road. "

so if we have made an agreement with this kid, i hope we put a fat break clause in it too!

Whats happening here - I really want Reinier Jesus, I hope they put it through now instead of wait till January.

Think I seen it in here before that he wont be able to sign a contract with us until he is 18.

So we could have agreed everything up until that point with Flamengo.. but considering our stance of not mentioning a transfer until its complete I highly doubt we'll hear anything on it til Jan

Yes I don't think they'll do a deal now, considering its another 40m pounds they could spend on someone else who could help straight away.

Rather this kid than Zaha...
I like the kid a lot but maybe get someone who can improve the team for the next 6 months first. Just a thought.

If getting Zaha dries up the funds for him that would be crappy though. But we need a winger today.
