Better watching his touches in one game than a highlights reel. Least you get a real picture. I’m not judging him on one game, I was just countering some of the over the top eulogy from some on here about a kid that I bet they’ve barely even seen. From what limited video evidence there is of him on YouTube he doesn’t look that good. His pace doesn’t stand out against U-17 players so how is it going to stand up against premier league defenders? He seems to have an eye for goal, decent through balls and a good bit of an edge to him.

I don’t see him as a Ronaldinho/Ronaldo/Neymar type though who is going to come here and absolutely electrify the first team. Maybe he could be a reserve for Siggurdson?

Not sure what’s controversial about any of this to be honest.

Real bought Odegaard who struggled to light up at Heerenveen and doesn’t seem to have much about him, they’ve already bought Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo both before this lad. PSG bought Chupo Moting. Big clubs looking at a player is no indication they’ll be successful. The entire football world probably monitor the U17s Brazil’s team.
