REFEREE FOR THE DERBY

It wasn't even that he bottled it! He created a decision from nothing, they didn't even appeal!

He also gave them a dangerous free kick when Osman got smacked in the face by the ball.

IT his his arm then bounced into his face. Watch the reply. Outside of the terrible goal call he did just fine. He didn't go crazy with yellow cards. He stayed in control of the game.

That's the most annoying part. It was the best refereed derby in ages, yet he still found a way to completely ruin it for Everton.

Completely agree.Taking it into perspective. Suarez's goal at Goodison should have counted. We benefited from the call that day and got SCREWED this game on a goal call.

Three very poor and biased decisions from the ref:

- disallowing a perfectly good goal.
- booking Anichebe for screaming "what you disallow that for!?" but not booking Gerrard for screaming "you're a ****house ref!"
- giving them a freekick in a dangerous position because the ball hit Osman's face.

It doesn't matter that he was competent the rest of the time. The ref is supposed to be competent the whole time, or at least if he does give a couple of dodgy decisions, then they're not all in support for the same side.

Another shyte derby ref...but if we had a few more vocal, passionate, [Poor language removed]-like players then we might prevent such one-sided refereering. As it is, our players don't pressure the ref enough. Call it honorable all you like, but it costs us the missing points we need to qualify for Europe. And as everyone else does it, why should we be the mice left behind?

This is bollocks comparing it to just this season. We've had derby ref issues since they didn't give us the Don Hutchison goal off the goalkick.

Just because we managed to get one call our way in over 10 years doesn't wipe all the others out.

Don't forget when Lucas took out Osman about 10 minutes in with no intention of getting the ball and the so called man in charge didn't even give him a telling off.

1. IT was a goal
2. If you watch the reply of the booking. It appears to me like he isn't going to give him a yellow until Anichebe makes physical contact with him. It looks like he then reaches into his pocket. When he initially blow for the foul he does not reach for a card.
3. IT HIT HIT ARM AND THEN HIS FACE.

No it wasn't! Just because he hardly had any big decisions to make doesn't mean he did well. He got a massive decision wrong, it was as bad as the collina decision but with less at stake. Shocking!!!

Well said we need to start playing the game this honourable thing we do is bollocks if it costs us points

If a photo could sum up the Everton Derby Day experience it'd be of a ref booking one of our players for his own mistake in chalking off a legitimate goal.......
