I actually liked him as a ref, I think it was us vs Newcastle a couple years ago he missed a BLATANT foul and the player was giving him abuse to which he was yelling back "Im SORRY, i MISSED IT! IM SORRY!" for about 15 seconds. Was humorous.

He wasn’t that bad a ref.
If he fronts this out successfully, which I doubt, he’s got some balls.
