The only thing silva is proving is his defensive inequalities..You would have thought and hoped that this process was in place for the recruitment of Silva. It probably wasn’t which says a lot about those in charge. This should be the same method for recruiting players(as mentioned by a previous poster). It doesn’t appear to have happened prior to Brands, I think his hands were tied last summer by time restraints. Hopefully this Summer will see improved player recruitment.
As for Silva ,I am not convinced he is the right person for the job but would happily be proved wrong.
I don’t think recruitment can be the key at the moment. Not player wise anyway.
The absolute key has to be the biggest clear out we’ve ever seen. Which will be one of the hardest things to achieve.
Only then will we be able to consider recruitment again.
Where to start.. LolWe need quality, heart, and hunger. We need leaders and we need a top striker(the madness of our poor striking options for the last two seasons isn't helping us).
This is why, if at all possible, we need someone like mourinho to come in and tip the club upside down and get EVERYONE involved performing like a top club would.Where to start.. Lol

I don't know why he appointed Silva, it just beggars belief.Moshiri's stratergy for the silva appointment was down to silva winning 4 games at Watford and looking good doing it.
that seemed to outweigh the fact that he has one of the worst premier league defensive records , esp at set plays.
so it was very very Everton, to go and hire a premier league manager , relegated, sacked and also the holder of the worst defensive set play record.
id like to think the next manager will at least have a winning record, or at the very least a better goals for than against... its pretty basic stuff to say the least
The amount of deadwood we've got to move on is unbelievable, the only way we get rid of some of them in the Summer is to move them on for buttons, even then it's not a given because of the big wages some of them are on. Can't see much incoming business being done in the Summer.
Set piece stats beg to differWill be a cf this summer no matter what is the prority as we are terrible there
I kno but would spend first on a cf already spent 30 mill on mina barely started games and holgate coming back would try getting rid of keane then bring another cb inSet piece stats beg to differ
