'Realistic' summer targets

its so depressing, everyone else is playing FM11, we are still playing f#####ing subbeutteo.

Here are some folks I think could help us:

Felipe Caicedo: Contract is up in June, I believe (if Transfermarkt is to be believed). Has gotten some playing time in Spain (11 goals in 21 appearances) since leaving Man City.
Jelle Vossen: Young, tearing up Belgium and would maybe help keep Felli around...might be a bit out of our price range
Maxi Lopez: Not having a great season in Italy, so we might be able to get him for a cut-rate price

Thoughts?

Some decent shouts there mate, I think only Caicedo would be in our Wage Budget. Although last time I saw him play for City he was terrible.

I think Dale Jennings looks good and could do the "Pienaar position" although he clearly needs a lot of work as he goes missing in games in League One already but clearly has something about him.

I also think Charlie Adam is massively overrated. I watch top class players like he's portrayed as and they hit feet constantly whilst beautifully spraying the ball about but Adam beautifully sprays the ball about, mostly his passes go out of play or are 5-10yards+ infront or behind the player. Yeah his dead balls are very good but then again so are the dead balls of a lot of players, doesn't mean they should linked with Man Utd etc

Transfermarkt put the end of the loan deal as being the end of the contract. Caicedo signed a 4.5 year deal with City in January 2008, so it'll be summer 2012 that his contract ends. Not a bad shout though, if he's available at a bargain price.

True. If we can't afford loans, it's debatable whether we could afford bosmans, as they'll be expecting fat signing on fees and high wages since we'd save money on a transfer fee. Moyes might just throw a load of the kids in next year to make up the numbers.
