99.9% of the names mentioned in this thread are absolute bollox....75% of them have been relegated from the premiership. Their the type of players who are good at relegation fodder but would get you nowhere but mid table security with us.

It shows that the lack of spending has rubbed of on the majority of fans and they are now settling for the likes of Felipe Caicedo as our answer to a 20 goal a season striker!!!!

What a joke

Bradley Johnson and R Keane are what we need!!! FTW

Nice sarcasm

Yeh bad shout from me over robbire keane in january but that times gone and I have relised how poor he has gone. But he has always played at the top level. Half of these players have been relegated and have never finished in the top half of the table.

Maybe Lewis Holtby on loan.

I like Vaughan at Blackpool and Jennings at Tranmere could be within reach.

I would have loved us to get Mbokani but sadly it didnt happen.

Doyle would be OK but I dont even think we can afford him weather Wolves go down on not.

Just messing there. Thought I would remind you of the 2 players you said we should get =)

At the end of the day, Moyes could make 99% of footballers a better player or at least triple their worth. Just need to see how much we get to spend (IF ANY) and spend it wisely. Whatever league they're from, as long as they look like they bothered, bring them in.

Thats very true, but sadly thats what we're looking at these days
Since i posted the thread we've been linked with that lad from Fiorentina who's meant to cost a bit of money, but other than that theres nothing to suggest we can afford any of the players listed nevermind players of better quality

I think the subject of the thread was 'realstic' targets, not our greatest heart's desires. Lack of spending hasn't rubbed off on us, it is merely a reality we need to live with until Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed bin Abromovich or Big Tex Moneypockets buys the club and throws dinero around. If you'd like to name a 20 goal striker you think we can currently afford, please do!

Are we happy with the current situation, nope. Must we live with it, yep. That's the price we pay for supporting this club that we love.

Think vaughn would be a great signing, fits in with Moyes work ethic very busy player.Jennings is more of a gamble though, and i have heard rumours he has been in trouble when he was atrainee at liverpool.

carlos vela has 1yr left on his contract, wouldn't mind him. also read somewhere moyes is sniffing round hugo rodellega dunno how true this is though
