Real Christmas Tree or Artificial Christmas Tree?

....funny enough, just been to Ikea to pick up one of their real trees for my son’s house. They are £29 with a £20 voucher to spend in the store, but I noticed the tree is smaller than in previous years.

We always have an artificial tree in our house.

The blue Norway Spruce is the best, but even that needs to sit in water as although it does not drop needles with heat the lovely blue just turns brown, also be aware of buying a rooted tree as after Christmas if it's icy cold outside and you place it from heat to cold that will kill it with the shock sometimes ......
I used to deal with many hundreds in the plant nursery - the altificial ones since though are becoming more popular since I retired....
I noticed some nice potted ones in Aldi about 4-5 ft high for £19, but at my age- humbug.....

When I was a kid we had no money and my parents would snap a twiggy branch off some tree somewhere and wrap it in tinsel for Christmas. These days Kirsty makes a fortune off stuff like that.
