RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

Final game of the matchday and it's an away trip to newly promoted Hamburg. Most results this weekend went in Leipzig's favour but Stuttgart thumped Wolfsburg earlier so are currently 5 points clear in 4th so a win here today is an absolute must. German media rumours have Werner's job in a very risky position if they lose today, as I predicted a few weeks back, but Leipzig have a good record against newly promoted team. Can the team finally put two decent halves together? We shall see. Strongest XI possible is on the pitch anyway.

Game is LIVE from 18.30pm on Amazon Prime (sub)

I did end up turning back on after I'd paced the room to calm down. Ended up winning 2-1 despite missing a penalty (I completely jinxed Romulo). Was still a very broken performance with a complete lack of clinical edge but an absolutely massive 3 points. Still in 5th place but can't drop lower and only 2 points off 3rd. Lovely, lovely back-heel for the opening RB goal.

RBL Matchday

Big, big, big game for RB this afternoon in the league. A win, and results elsewhere being favourable, could have them sitting back in 3rd position but unlikely as Hoffenheim are playing the bottom side. Same XI as the Hamburg game and a really strong record vs Augsburg but they're in top form too with 5 wins in the last 6. Hoping for a good game! Can this be the one where players become clinical? We shall see.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm

To ease the blow of last night's unfortunate defeat away to Stuttgart (RIP CL as things stand), the club are soon to announce the first new signing of the Summer in Rocco Reitz for about €18m - very happy with this, think he's a brilliant little player.

RBL Matchday

Absolute massive Friday night game in the hunt for CL football as Leipzig (5th) host Hoffenheim (3rd) with 3 points separating the two. Sadly Leipzig fluffed the very similar game vs Stuttgart (4th) last time out and I have a feeling they'll fluff this as well with individual errors plaguing the side from goalkeeping errors to lazy dangerous passes. Hoffenheim play with a lot more confidence and drive and think they may dominate the game with their impressive midfield and attack - defensively they're not all that though so can be got at! Lose this though and I think it's probably bye-bye to CL football next season.

Game is LIVE from 19.30 on YouTube, iPlayer, few different spots.
