Bundesliga is back! Thank the Lord for that, haven't had Everton for 19 weeks so it's about time I watched something. It's an away trip to a fairly average Werder Bremen side but they have won 3 of the last 5 so certainly can't be ignored. Diomande has thankfully recovered in time for this but sadly Gruda hasn't so he's stuck back out wide right whilst the largely anonymous Nusa comes in on the left (he apparently can't play anywhere else). With only 7 games remaining this season, and the CL places being so tight - as well as quite likely losing that 5th slot - this has become another must win game. If they play like they did against Hoffenheim it should be formality but post-international breaks are usually quite sluggish.

Sadly away so missed the game but a HUGE 3-1 away win today vs Frankfurt with a depleted starting XI. First win in Frankfurt I think. Keeps them temp 3rd depending on Stuttgart’s result with Hoffenheim 5 behind, Leverkusen 7. Cmonnnnnn.
