RB Leipzig

You pressure teams and they make mistakes, its not rocket science. Even a average standard PL player can look superb of he has 8 -10 seconds on the ball to look up and play passes freely.

We dont force these mistakes, they do and have the players switched on enough to punish teams. That Salah one was brilliant by him, if thats Richarlison, DCL or Iwobi etc, they are not anticipating that and by the time they do react, the defender is back covering.

DCL and Richalrison have pressured defenders for years. I’ve never seen one spoof a clearance like that, or like Ben Mee did for Burnley. Teams just absolutely crap themselves against that lot.

The only one I can think of is De Gea against United really.

You’re right, teams seem to just fell apart and capitulate for them.

Just read somewhere Upamecano gave the ball to them 13 times tonight lol

He was really not at all good, all their back 3 had bad moments. But Upamecano especially was clearly a target to go after him, definitely it was something they saw as a weakness and yes, he obliged by giving up the ball over and over. And the thing with him is too, he is so fast, which means he is great at recovery, but the problem is his positioning is often poor as he gets dragged out, so yes, great to have the pace to compensate, but it will cost him over and over, it is something that needs to change in his game.

Even though Liverpool where the better team, Leipizig did actually play well too apart from obvious mistakes, which happen, it was a good game to watch.

Yeh the defence had a bad day. Funnily enough Upamecano was also awful in the mauling at Man United and the semi with PSG. He's a good prospect but I'm not overly concerned he's leaving as I believe his replacement (Gvardiol) will be a lot better than he is.

It's weird how he seems to play terrible and people continue to swear that no actually he's really good.

I mean I'm sure he does have good performances but I feel like the 10 to 15 times I've watched him there haven't been many.

He is sometimes brilliant and even on his bad performances you can see the pace and power but the amount of mistakes aren't getting any fewer.

RBL Matchday

It's an away trip to a very poor Hertha Berlin side today after Tuesday's dismal CL performance against Satan. Only lost one of the past 8 meetings between the two sides. Hertha have a decent squad but very poorly managed; hopefully that continues today! Henrichs and Forsberg are deemed fit again for the squad with Upamecano being a slight doubt - probs best dropping him if possible anyway as he's been gash for weeks. Maybe a start for Hwang after his recent positive cameos?

Beautifully sunny day in the capital.
