i am kinda warming to the guy.

i dig this whole taking forever to choose. could you imagine him in front of you at maccy d's. take him a week to choose a big mac.

but i reckon he is really in his gaff in sweden smoking a reefer with his mates playing fifa. one of his mates is saying, 'dude, wasn't there something you had to do this week?'.

elm is taking a draw 'you know dude, plenty of time for what ever it is... mexico-iraq anyone?'

I'd say little Rasmus is more likely at home with his his best girl, which is his mum, deciding what to have for his tea tonight. Will it be meatballs or frikadeller? Decisions, decisions, decisions. Needs to think about it for a while. Show some maturity. Not jump in without thinking it through. Important.

According to a report in Dutch sports weekly Sportweek, reigning Eredivisie champions AZ are keen to add Swedish international Rasmus Elm to their squad.

The report suggests that the Alkmaar side have already held talks with the young midfielder. However, Elm has also attracted the interest of a number of German and English clubs and this could prove to be a problem for AZ.

"We're unable to match the wages clubs from Germany and England can offer. Therefore, we hope that he will make a decision based on sportive arguments," technical direct Marcel Brands was quoted as saying.

"We did our utmost to convince him of our intentions with him, but it remains to be seen whether he will join us this transfer window."

The midfielder's current Kalmar FF deal is due to expire in 2010, but the Swedish side could be ready to cash in on him now. Aside from AZ, Everton and Bayer Leverkusen are closely monitoring the player's situation, too.

So, does this bode well or poorly for us?

Another side pulling the Everton card - we're skint so we can't pay you much but we've got a fine physio and a boss whirlpool? Not only are we getting beaten in transfers, other clubs are playing our game. OOOF.

What amuses me is that this lad plays for some obscure outfit called Kalmar. Any decision to shift is a wise one.

Sort yourself out you ******* lampost.

Well, I'm not the guy who claim to know him personally, but from what have been written in the swedish media the past weeks or so is that Elm has been visiting us (a few weeks back), AZ Alkmaar and Bayer Leverkusen (last week) and he's now trying to make his choise. Some article yesterday about Völler (manager of Leverkusen) making a comment about their meeting - non-news really and nothing i clearer than it was a fortnight ago - apart from the statement form Elm that City is out of the picture, but you all knew that.

So is this so wrong of Rasmus to wait and really think which club suits him best? Is it wrong that he wants to be 100% sure of what club he wants to belong to?

Well i say like this, You have too little patience my friends. His agent has told the media that an answer will happen in one week.KFF plays on Saturday, If he is in the squad he has not decided, If he is not... You know.

Svenska vänner här, Märks vilket tryck och spänning dessa personer här har för att Rasmus ska signera fort för dem va?

Cheers. Thanks for the update. This summer has caused us all to be quite short of patience - nothing personal or nothing towards Elm - we're an anxious lot.

Guardian are saying that Rasmus would rather play in Italy or Holland.

Everton's attempt to sign Rasmus Elm, meanwhile, appears to be over after the Swedish midfielder said he wishes to continue his career away from England. Fulham and Manchester City have also been linked with the highly rated 21-year-old, who plays for Kalmar and is a Swedish international, but he is believed to favour a move to Italy or the Netherlands. Elm is thought to have held discussions with AZ Alkmaar.

Come on Rassie lad. Come over here. We'll guarrantee to make you a £20million player in 1 season.
