Like Naughton lets look on this young lad as one with potential to be fufilled for the future at least lets see him up close, if he signs. Happened to Fellaini last year because he was our primary signing the level of expectation and criticism was unfair - and he did really well in his first year.

Hey there people. First of all let me introduce myself(not by name).
So i know Rasmus Elm personally(went to school,grown up with the Elm brothers,meet the brothers often and so on).. Why did i write here? Because i have read all of the comments on here to Raz and the links to English articles.. And MAN they dont have so much of a clue(at least not by the Swedish tabloids).
Here is the truth.
Raz played in Emmaboda IS(he is from Broakulla in Emmaboda Comunity)A-team until he was 16 and later moved to Kalmar FF where he is know. I have played with him so many times and all of the time he has always been the better kid(often bet 25 year olds in soccer when he was 14). I must say it sure is cool to read about an person you know but strange as hell, For me he is just an person, For you he is an "lad,soccer player".
This year nanne really thought it would be Raz year after Viktor(his older brother) moved to Herenveen. And it sure has.
Already in march(or february) Raz rejected and offer from Fulham(just a loan until the summer) and has since then been linked with Everton,Valencia,Sevilla,Bayern Munchen,Ajax,PSV,Hoffenheim,(not liverpool yet).
I have asked him what he thinks about all the clubs but he dont want to talk about that so much..
Personally i would really like to see him to you, Everton seems like a great club. I DONT want to see him in the Dutch league,he is way too good to it.
How is he like an player? Very secure with the ball,always calm on the field,amazing foot(just look at the goals on youtube) but most important, He is an amazing soccer player and is,after Zlatan,the biggest player out from Sweden.
Personally i am as Raz born in Kalmar so im an avid KFF fan, And he did sign a new contract just 3 months ago(one-year one). He has an contract to December 2010.
Sure i want to keep him in the team but you always see he is to good for allsvenskan here in Sweden, I think he will leave soon :/.
If you have any Swedish links and need translation just write here, i will try to look at his board very often and i will update what he all of the fans of KFF knows,what it says about him.

PS: Yes its true he was in UK a few weeks ago and talked with Everton, More i cant say.

Yes we do say that, but "mate" is singular, so i would suggest just 'Cheers' or 'Cheers lads'.
Nice of you to come on here and post. I'd like him to play for us, I think we're a good option in terms of developing players. If the amount of interest there has reportedly been is accurate, then I admire the guy for taking his time, a sensible decision. Is his English as good as yours? Or are most Swedes good english-speakers ?

No worries mate.
Well I'm confident that if he takes his time to make his decisions, if he did move to us he should be happy. If he speaks English I think it's so much easier to adjust.

Tell Raz not to think for too long. Our season starts in a couple of weeks. Already yesterday Everton lifted their first trophy by beating the MLS All Stars. If Raz had joined us last week he could have had his hands on that trophy too.
Everton would like him to sign, and so would the fans. But the fans also look for something more from him. Everton is a club with a great history. Our recent success is due to the fact that we're like a family, the players all work for one another, and for the coach. So with new players we want to see pride that they're joining a great club with great traditions; and we also want to see commitment, to play with passion and work for the success of the team and not just for their own careers. Any player who can be all this and play good football too will be a hero with Everton fans.
