Rasmus Elm

KFF fan,

Tell Raz not to think for too long. Our season starts in a couple of weeks. Already yesterday Everton lifted their first trophy by beating the MLS All Stars. If Raz had joined us last week he could have had his hands on that trophy too.

Everton would like him to sign, and so would the fans. But the fans also look for something more from him. Everton is a club with a great history. Our recent success is due to the fact that we're like a family, the players all work for one another, and for the coach. So with new players we want to see pride that they're joining a great club with great traditions; and we also want to see commitment, to play with passion and work for the success of the team and not just for their own careers. Any player who can be all this and play good football too will be a hero with Everton fans.

Hehe, well Raz really has commitment to the club he "works" for. He has been in Kalmar FF for over 4 years know and many clubs want him, instead he signs a new one year contract. He loves the club, that everyone can see. But in the final the money that KFF will get for him will be to much to say no too. The club that will get his signature on the contract can be lucky.

Hey Kalmar fella

Thanks for your post

What is his best position!

is he fast?

Hey there :)
no problem, He is best as an attacking midfielder. There he will be a centure of the play. Raz loves to shoot but also loves to make som decent passes.

Everyone, Look at this one:

By 0.09 second we will se Rasmus Elm, look at what an wonderful pass from him, that is Raz. His foot is the best.

The person on tv "Well this is Rasmus Elms score"

Let's not get all giddy about that aircraft wing Neville sheepishly lifted last night. Just assume that monstrosity stayed in SLC rather than making a home at Goodison or Finch Farm. Besides, Kenwright's probably already got it on eBay!!!

Agreed. Also, without wanting to sound negative, if we dont sign several players before the season starts, that will be the only trophy we will win this season. :(

The figures mentioned in that article says that they hope to get about £4M for him and for a player with his potential and experience of both national & international clubfootball and a member of the Swedish national team at his age.... it's not much.

I hope we sign this guy I really do. He has already shown a lot of talent, and he has a lot more to come.
I have a feeling he won't come though. We are pretty pathetic these days at handling transfers. No doubt we will refuse to pay what they want, and he'll end up elsewhere.

The reason the price is so low is that his contract ends in a few months. I think Everton may be hesitating over whether it's worth spending this amount of money on a player who could be available before Christmas on a free. Hope we do sign him now though : he's needed.

The more I think about this the more certain I am that we won't see any offer for him in the near future. Moyes have said that the position in most need to strengthen is the defence, so before we get that defender we probably won't see a new offer for a midfielder.

No! Not true.

Raz signed a new one-year contract on 5th May 2009! So almost 1,5 years before he becames an "bosman"
