That is a scorcer of a goal on 39 seconds

The one about 29 seconds caught my eye. I'm usually dead against using youtube as quality guide, because even if he scores some scorchers there could be another 500 where he misses, which didn't make the cut.

But there's a few in there where he blasts them in with almost no backlift. That's a more important skill than being able to score spectacular goals with no defenders near you, which doesn't happen often in the Premier League.

I've thought for ages we've needed a player who scores goals from outside the box, Lampard/Gerrard style. Arteta and Pienaar just don't do it enough.

Its looking more likely.........*taps wood, fingers cross, hopes Wobbily Head doesnt dive in last minute*

revealed over the weekend that Everton had made an approach for the highly-rated midfielder.
The 21-year-old impressed during last month's European Under 21 Championship and he has broken into the senior set-up this year, winning six caps to date.
A number of clubs are chasing the set-piece specialist, but Everton are leading the hunt for Elm after inviting the player over to Merseyside.
Elm's representative, Patrick Mork, has admitted the player would be interested in a move to Everton and the Premier League.
"For sure Everton is an interesting option for Rasmus," Mork told skysports.com.
"Everton asked him to visit the club last Friday and everything was positive at Everton.
"Of course it would be interesting for Rasmus to play in England, but he has a lot of options.
"There has been a lot of interest in Rasmus and he also has other options in England.
"Rasmus is regarded as one of the best players in Sweden in the last 20 years - that is his reputation.
"He is a special player and he has a big decision to make."

if he is half as good as Larson or ibrahimavic i will be well happy

It seems to me the agent is talking up the price and wages whilst also hawking him around other clubs.

Why is it Everton take so bloody long to sign a player, talk about dither!

Part of it is I think they go in with a low offer hoping to get away with it and are then shocked that it is not enough and so we lose out.

If he does sign for us, he is so ugly will have to play with a paper bag on his head and we call him the Stig!

Isnt he already Euro Cup tied.
He has played in the Champions League qualifier for Kalmar, don't know if that means he's cup tied for the Europa League as well ... he's a great buy anyway.

And if he's one of the biggest talents for the past 20 yrs ... dunno about that, he's got quite a lot to prove before he reaches the heights of Larsson and Ljungberg (Ibrahimovic is a bigger talent, no doubt).

wasnt it said some where that he wouldnt come over till jan anyway cuz the season is finished over there then!?
