They really shouldn't. As soon as they get drawn against a decent side they will be gone (esp. If they keep getting players sent off) and that's if they don't get knocked out beforehand in the group stages.

If they get through to the QF or greater I would be amazed and it will just bring sharper focus to our European failure last season if they do.

Didn't happen for Krancjar, Senderos, Barton and many others

You have to be prepared to fight in that league. If your fighting spirit isn't there then you'll fail
