You'll enjoy it, its just a pity there will only be 800 celtic fans there instead of 8,000 but ibrox will be rocking

I’ve been up for the game and also cup finals and I think the lack of fans will make an impact on the atmosphere, still be a fantastic experience obviously but fan numbers are huge in games hence why FA cup games can be much better because of the allocation.

I was at celtic park last time, there were 800 of us but the atmosphere was still pretty good, the old firm is on a different level i think

...i’m really looking forward with interest going to the Old Firm game.
Hope you enjoy yourself Eggs, although the atmosphere will still be good it would be even better if Rangers allowed Celtic their usual allocation then it would be absolutely electric as usual.
I've been to a few old firm games mainly in the eighties the most memorable being Charlie Nicholas last game for Celtic, down 2-0 at half time the hoops came back to win 4-2, you can only imagine the atmosphere.
I hope this one will be a classic for you to enjoy.

They matter, but not as much as high profile games for the media in the UK as a whole. Gerrard is using Rangers. He's giving the EL effort 100%; prioritising it while the Rangers fans want 8-in-a-row stopped.
It's the rs, nothing else counts but european football. His former club's aim over the last 20 years has been to try and finish in the top 4. No coincidence since he left that the rs have improved. He has more or less given up on any Rangers challenge for the Scottish Prem with only a couple of points difference to Celtic.
His excuse is already scripted? "A hard European campaign has taken its toll on the players for any title challenge"

He's doing alright up there, they've undoubtedly improved from last season and look to be fighting hard for him. Facts of the matter are though they're still nowhere near Celtic and anything less than 1st in that league for either of the Old Firm teams is seen as failure. He's an egomaniac so not winning anything (or even really challenging) will be eating away at him. Stevie Me.

He took that job to try and short cut his way into the big chair at Anfield for when Urine Teeth eventually goes. When that day comes though you know they would never hand the reins to someone who won't have won anything ever as a manager no matter how much of a club legend he is. They're too egotistical for that like the man himself.

He will manage in the PL at some point most probably but barring absolutely unbelievable circumstances it will never be with Liverpool.
