Saying that he was at times our best performer. Overall a very accomplished first season I'd say.

It's really hard to judge any defender in a Martinez side, purely based on their defensive abilities, as the set-up at the back was so bad.

Plus there's no way Lazio have £20mil+ to spunk on Mori.

He's 25, still young in terms of a centre-back. And he did show some real ability to defend last-ditch situations. Yes he has mistakes in him but for a first season in the Prem coming over from Argentina, at 24, he did extremely well, all things considered. Bare in mind he rarely played with Jags bar the spell in Feb when we conceded a lot less than normal.

Plus, it's boss that we actually have a defender who scores goals again.

He got what, 5 or 6 in all comps this season?

Lets be honest, nobody is buying/selling our players apart from the obvious deadwood until a manager comes in!

Mori would certainly be able to defend better under a better manager, imo, valuable asset...

Just like our entire squad has defended better under a better/different manager than Martinez.
