Considering it was his 1st full home debut I thought he was great considering it been a Derby aswell. Read the game well, won everything in the air. The only criticism if any is that he was caught a bit flat footed a couple of times early on. But grew as the game went on. Great 3rd choice centre half to have in the team as Jags may need a break at some point in the season.

Robles played very well in last years Derby kept a clean sheet - He will probably step down when Stones is fit?
or RM may use either as a full back but Mori is left footed so Galloway would hold that spot maybe Stones at right back?

I imagine he was watching mate. As football fan and journalist I think he would watch a match as important as the Merseyside derby, especially as a south american player was involved. Mind you, if he is over in South America he'd have to take into account the time difference so maybe watched it on a catch up service if they have that sort of thing in South America. I'm not sure where he is based these days. Sorry.

Also not convinced on his one man missions in possession, and off the ball - he likes to go and attack the ball, risky.

But overall, all considered decent game from the lad. Some excellent individual moments/interceptions. Hope he goes on to be boss, though at the moment any South American centre defender is going to have my nerves on edge.

Seems that Vickery fella and his comments have been proved to be a load of arl bollocks. He looks more than useful for this league and has a bit about him to be a success here. Coming from another country, barely been here 5 minutes, i think he has settled extremely well.

I'm quite surprised with your comments. I wake up early yesterday to watch the Derby and see Ramiro plays. I thought you will be more critical with him after a bad first half for him.

Skrtel dominated him on the air and he showed some doubts even a good interception on the right.

But overall I think he showed some of the huge winner character he has. He recovered with a very good second half and finished the match saying "I'm here, lads". Not only with that stop close the end. There was a moment I think 5 minutes to the final whistle that he get the ball, go forward, passed to a midfielder and went wide to show himself as another attack option. That's Ramiro. A winner, mates. He only thinks to win. Doesn't care if is his first home match, first Derby... he hasn't fair to mess it up.

He will make mistakes because he takes risk. Sometimes you will want to kill him, but at the end you will love him. I'm completely sure. You don't know exactly how we miss him now. It's a pitty your scouters are not Vickery and you bought Balanta instead him.

He has only been here 5 mins and as of yet has to learn the English rules that you are allowed to wrestle your opponent to the ground in the box from corners and free kicks.
