Very disappointing night last night and indeed, the whole start to the season but a win against the Barcodes can get us off and running. Still a lot to play for this season and while i can understand the frustrations of fans, some of the comments about season over were slightly ott. European campaign was a shambles this season but its important we get through, by hook or by crrok, to have another crack next year.

Whisper it quietly but, still a lot to fight for this year! COYB
 


Should've done that last season and gotten the 3rd placed Cypriots instead.

We seriously need to do a number on Newcastle, will be even harder to be positive about the Arsenal and Utd games following if we can't get 3 points and in some serious style (or at least with a clean-sheet!)

We've lulled everyone into a false sense of security now, time to call on the A-Team and get back up the table pronto.

As much as I admire your sentiments perhaps you could explain what there is left to fight for unless you mean a battle against relegation.
We have done diddleysquat in the F.A. Cup in recent years and, I may be wrong, but I don`t think we are going to win the PL.

Still upset over last night !

We've got UEFA cup placing to fight for. Keeping ourselves in Europe really does raise our profile. Hence, we've the ability to retain talent and attract it as well. The season isn't over, it just won't be as interesting as we'd hoped for.
 
Its not about playing for something we need to start winning games get the confidence back and play like an evertonians should with fight and let the rest know we do not give up and it will be a hard game to win home or away COME ON YOU BLUES (y)(y)(y) EVERTON 4 NEWCASTLE 0

You can bet if it gets near the end of the season and it looks like we will qualify through the fair play league we start to get lots of undeserved mysterious bookings!
