Still finding it difficult to believe he’s the route of the problem.

Change him for someone else and we’ll just end repeating the process in another year or so. Nothing changes.

Still not replaced Barkley, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman or got midfielders who can pass the pass forward.

Once that gets fixed, it'll be on the right track.

Aiming at the few who have campaigned ceaselessly against the new manager and gone as far as saying they would continue regardless of how well he does. These results are manna from heaven to such "Evertonians". They will get their wish soon and the real culprits who caused this mess, some present and some gone are absolved or rather forgotten. Rafael is the (well paid) fallguy.
Name names or pipe down

But this is what happens when you have an injury crisis and dont have a squad full of quality replacements!!

You go cant away from home without your only good CF, CM, CB and now two wide players in Gray and Richarlison and expect the other side to just roll over and hand us the 3 points because we once won stuff in the 80's.

Not how it works unfortunately.
You said our back up players are capable of 11th though. So surely they should be able to get 3 points from brentford?

How can you blame the manager when everything in front of him turns to s---

Injuries (permanent and on-field ones), an inadequate squad, no transfers in to speak off, and a recent record that's lamentable or average at best. There may be no signs of improvement (yet) but, taken as a given that we are fairly useless it's not his fault we're still fairly useless. Blame Brands, Koeman, Silva, Allardyce and the Italian Jobby just as much.

But you have to take the emotion out of it otherwise we aint ever moving forward.

If the solution to our problems is just sacking manager after manager and keeping the same squad of mish mash players signed by multiple managers then we'll be forever in a loop cycle of boom bust until we eventually go down.

We have to stop and give a manager at least 2 seasons to try stop the rot and nows the time when our finances mean we simply can not back a new manager adequately enough.
I see what you're saying and it makes sense and if we had any other manager I'd agree but RB was disliked by a sizeable percentage of the fan base before he even step foot onto FF .
He hasn't endeared himself at all .
If we could be actually guaranteed a top 15 finish this season , I'd say okay but our form is bottom 18 and we have THEM to play soon .
If the Agent Benitez calls aren't happening now they will be .
Yes we have injuries and we all knew we get beat but there's no fight here . None .
It's not all down to him as the club is rotten but he's not even acting as a plaster . He's become part of the problem .
Two of his signing have bought him some goodwill but even in the eyes of the delusional RBs that must be running on empty .
If we don't beat Brentford , he really has to go . He has to as the Derby will be soooo toxic .

Or the Young lads put the effort in, cause trouble and bring the others in and we actually take the game to City. Imagine that sequence a minute before the 1st goal, instead of Iwobi on the flank hitting the man with Richy open, Richy on the same flank with Simms in space, finding him and Simms scoring

How many league games has Simm had to prove he could even do this?

I'm not against it at all by the way. I just don't see how it changes the "Rafael out" brigade

Rafael’s appointment is but one of the many symptoms of the far bigger problems affecting the club.

Sacking him won’t start to solve the root cause of what’s wrong.

Even if we sign a couple of decent loan transfers in January, these will be sticking plaster, temporary fixes, rather than strategic solutions to the underlying problem.

The board are responsible for all decisions and for providing any manager, in any business, the resources to achieve the targets and measures of success set by the board.

Our recent history suggests we don’t have a strategic vision which sets out where we want to be and the steps we will take to get there….unless of course that vision is bottom half mediocrity and failure.

Every decision they take results in a continuation of a downward spiral. It isn’t bad luck we are crap. Tangible signs of improved decision making would build hope of eventual success and buy time for whoever the manager is.

If the board knew what they were doing, the Rafael debate wouldn’t exist, because he wouldn’t be here.

Direct your anger and frustration at them.

No! That's the thing you (and others) are missing. You CAN'T take the emotion out of it. It's not possible. You can not control it.

Sacking managers is not the solution at all. Neither is employing one who will be turned on unfairly in record time.

Yes we do need to stop and give a manager time. Of course we do, again though it means absolutely nothing saying that because loads and loads of people will not give him time. We knew that from the start didn't we?

Just to clarify here, I WANT you and Davek and Kev50 and the likes to win this scenario because it would probably end up being good for Everton. But what none of you seem to get is that it doesn't matter how reasonable you are and how much common sense you spout in relation to this as people will have already made up their mind and the manager will be doomed. You are not going to change those opinions, nobody can including the manager.

I'm pretty sure we said exactly the same thing before he was appointed. He is on a hiding to nothing.

Joint 2nd worst win % in our history

You said our back up players are capable of 11th though. So surely they should be able to get 3 points from brentford?

Who's putting the ball in the back of the net against Brentford?

Who's creating the chances?

Who's stopping their towering CF's from scoring?

Who's driving the side on from CM?

If the answer to those questions is "I don't no lad" then you cant blame the manager if we dont get a win next Sunday!
