Carlo won 3 out of the last 14 games last season, We’ve spent 1.7m since then and are shocked that we look crap with our best players missing

There is a big difference between looking crap and getting humped at home by Watford to the tune of 5 goals, especially when we were wining with 20 to go!

How on earth is that Benitez's fault? What did you want him to do with that bench?

We couldn't even name a full 9 and had 2 keepers on there yet cryarses in the fanbase are acting like he took off Vincent Kompany for Niasse.

This isn't the same as Carlo playing Davies at RWB or no wide players against Newcastle - this is simply an injury hit squad with the same garbage players like Keane, Davies and sadly Digne/Godfrey letting us down which they have done all season.

Drop the agenda and open your eyes to the truth - 2-1 and losing 5-2 is 100% down to those players no one else.

He said it himself - if you have friends, you are given 3 years, if you don't - 3 months. Obviously, he has many friends. Just look at the comfortable questions he was asked after the game.

The hardest thing to make sense of is, how on earth did the man think Tom Davies could replace Doucoure without changing the shape? As soon as his injury was revealed we all expected a change to a 3-man midfield, and yet instead Davies was picked as a 1 for 1 replacement?? Its no wonder we were left so many times with a huge gaping hole in front of the defence and the only plan was for Pickford to go long to the wings.

Again with the "what else could he do" shout? How about not leaving the ghost of Rondon on the pitch the full 90 minutes? How about going to a 3 man midfield because Davies couldn't do what Doucoure did? How about spending some time on the 'kin training ground on defending set pieces?

I guess that's too much to expect.
