The summer really was a disaster. Catastrophic transfer business, a police investigation costing us a player we could do with (yes really - have you seen our set pieces) and an absolutely awful managerial appointment.

No money or structure in place to fix it in January either. Big problems.

But this stems back to is he being able to put his managerial stamp on things when he has not been able to field his best players, has not been provided with decent funds to implement the changes he wants too and has so many fans on his back scrutinising every decision he makes hoping he will fail so they can say they were right... hardly a fair environment to judge somebody.

If we let him put his "managerial stamp " on us , he'll stamp us down into the Championship

We're at the bottom of the league for pretty much every stat under the sun (on par with Burnley and Newcastle)

His predecessor had the same squad and wasn't at the same point this season.

He can be fairly judged on that.

On a brighter note I managed to get a staycation in Scotland and it was actually sunny;)

It's boring now fella. We get some actually decent Wums on this site but you aren't even good at that.

You don't even know the things you have said, you have no track of any of it.

What's most telling, is that if you were an actual everton fan, you would get defensive about it when that is called into question, like 99% of the posters on here would.

The fact you don't react when someone suggests you are a kopite, or directly asks who you support, shows that you don't support us, as I don't know any everton fan that wouldn't get annoyed at being called a kopite.

Or perhaps I like to ignore petty name-calling because it's childish and don't respond to such retorts.

So who do you support?

Hand on heart are you seriously suggesting this team could go down when you know for a fact there are about four or five teams far worse. The performance v Arsenal and the never give up attitude which was displayed.. give you it’s not been displayed too often.. this team has shown it has capable of it and those five teams below have never demonstrated they have it in them, this is just ludicrous for fans to think about relagation just because the team is in a very poor run of form and fixtures on the back of an injury crisis too...

The reason for such hysteria is because Benitez is an ex reds manager and some fans are loving the current crisis because they can say they were right all along about speaking up against his appointment.. people need to be honest.. even if a trophy was won it still wouldn’t be enough for some.

didn't Watford beat us 5-2, and United 4-1?

Out of interest mate, are you including Watford and Brentford in that group of four or five?
