So i know people will want Rafael gone, i personally would give him a bit longer, whether we like him or not, he has had big problems with injuries, lack of signings and basically a good few players that don’t look like they are to bothered what ever the rest, tbh it’s been like that for a long time now long before Rafael came here. If he is sacked how would any other manager get this lot going? It’s early days and they have better players but do Spurs look much better with Conte? Would we look better with Pep? I don’t think so you can only work with what you’ve got. But if Rafael did go I 100% would give Dunc the job un till the summer, he will work them hard and make them fight, we have zero fight atm and haven’t really had for years. Manager after manager it doesn’t improve, the problems are much deeper totally different plan need and Dunc would be different, apart from a hand full of games since I haven’t enjoyed matches since Dunc had his stint I enjoyed every moment of everyone of those games, pure passion and fight.

I said all along that he wouldn't see the year out or even make it to Christmas and with every passing game that becomes more likely. I doubt he'll be here by this time next week and if he is then Arsenal will almost certainly be his last game.

I don't think so mate. He's kept playing the same system over and over despite it clearly not working.

Chasing a goal against Brentford with two subs unused, despite having 3 attacking players on the bench. What's the point in them being there if they're not gonna get a chance? Instead we've got Iwobi who has 3 goals in 65 games and Rondon 0 goals in 10 up front.

Terrible management.
Maybe because the players on the bench are not ready or terrible...system wasn't the issue today...

That today was another stupid mistake. Don't care about that.

The fact we dominated that 2nd and the more it continued it went from being a game we could come back in, then even win...to then losing as the seconds ticked by due to the manager not having the quality to change an approach.

Scandalous to not even take a point.
He also chose not to try anything different. Ellis Simms might end up never playing regularly above League 1 and still you can't just waste games away letting Rondon watch cross after cross fly through without getting near one.

….I thought Rondon had his best game in an Everton shirt, which doesn’t say much.

The key thing about playing Rondon is that he doesn’t fit into the system Benitez wants to play. Fast attacking counter-attack is not appropriate with a tug boat as your central striker. It results in us being compressed in the top third where we struggle to break teams down.

DCL and Richarlison missing is a real problem, but he persists in playing an option that is actually contrary to the team model. Sure he can be innovative and put Gordon more central, at least he’d trouble defenders running the channels.
