A bad manager or a bad set of players.
A lot of people forget the embarrassing showings when he was here. Losing to the Liverpool U12's sticks out...
Worst moment as an Everton fan of my entire lifetime by a significant distance.

Director of Medical Services I believe was his job title. Not sure what extra can be done when players are injured or his performance. Just know he was VERY VERY well respected by players and colleagues.
Might be a good move, dunno, he's part of the old guard and his departure bound to ruffle a few feathers.
I’m more than happy to see the medical team get booted. We’ve had far too many repeat injuries and setbacks in recoveries. Not arsed how well liked he was if he can’t manage his department.
And we beat them comfortably with our fringe players and youth. Not sure what the point is?Salford were newly promoted to League 2.

Good for them, I say. A team of winners.Salford were newly promoted to League 2.

It is a small sample and nothing in it. Is worth a mention that in the early part of last season we did not have big injury problems (as I recall without checking)In Ancelotti's first 11 games of the 2019-20 season, Everton scored 17 goals and conceded 17 goals. Last season we scored 20 goals in 11 games, and conceded 18 goals. Benitez's first 11 games then Everton have scored 16 and conceded 16. (EPL)
Yes, that's my point. For those who are eager to get rid of Benitez, at this point it is difficult to find good arguments. They may have a good case after we have played another 15 - 20 games, but we have to wait and see how the trend develops. It is a small sample and nothing in it. Linked to Benitez's new guy coming in?
Bet you didn’t think that until after the West Ham game, like it or not he’s here will be here for a while and most likely the best we will get. Look at Newcastle all there wealth and landed up with Howe, he’s not a terrible manager but I bet Newcastle fans were expecting much better. Us and Benitez at this moment in time are about the same level. He’s dropped a bit in recent years with his managerial achievements and we have certainty drop back in the PL. Currently it’s a perfect match, don’t forget he’s had basically zero to spend and still has load if players that need outing. He can’t work miracles he isn’t a magician.2 points from 15
He should never have been given a chance in the first place
Tranmere was pretty bad.Worst moment as an Everton fan of my entire lifetime by a significant distance.
Not really. I mean it's possible of course but so are many things. We will probably end up somewhere between 8th and 12th and it will be really quite boring again is we carry on merely existing.Serious question.
Is anyone starting to get slightly worried about relegation?
Our fixtures until Boxing Day look tricky. Assuming Newcastle buy themselves out of trouble then it only leaves Norwich as a gimme with two places remaining. I think we will be ok but DCL and Doucoure need to return asap before the lack of quality in the squad continues to be exposed.
Well, no.
The point is to not judge him so conclusively after 11 games.
The irony is Williams concludes with Benitez needs time but Evertonians are spoilt brats who won't give him it.
