Great post. For the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to the new season. I wasn’t a fan of appointing Rafael but he’s come across really well. Proud to have him as our manager.

definitely prefer him to Harry Potter at Brighton, with his meagre 1 in 4 win record.

Me too. It will take him at least 18 months to turn this s**t-show around but he has the right philosophy.

Not quite sure about that mate. Abit of a generalisation. I have a southern accent but I love the club, have done since about 1985 when I was a young lad and I’ve put thousands into the club in my lifetime on tickets and merchandise for my kids who are blues.

Can Benitez build teams, as that's what we need going into the future. It doesn't look like we have the finances at present, but that will improve in time.

Seriously, what are you going to do with yourselves? Adopt a non-league team? Choose a PL team to identify with? Join an amateur dramatic society?


Look, stop acting daft and get behind this football club. It's a new season and we are all Everton supporters at the end of the day.
