If the club thought he was the best candidate, why would he divide the fan base? Players have crossed the park before and improved us in the not so distant past. Beardsley and Abblet. I don’t recall such I’ll feeling about them transfers? Would that happen today? I don’t think it would. Our ill feeling towards the RS seems to be much stronger today than it was 25 years ago. Almost feels like anyone connected to them should not be entertained even if its to our detriment.
