people forget wingers do get injured....always nice to have options. we saw how useful it was to bring on a tricky winger with 30 minutes left against west brom, that winger nearly had 2 assists.

fresh legs against tired legs, pace v brawn in those last few minutes could get us vital goals this year

Spurs nearly won the league in part due to rotating there fullback pair to keep them fresh.

He is versatile, and he can keep things competitive. What is so wrong about having a rotation of wingers? Mirallas, Lennon, Delofeu, Bolasie and potentially Ghezzal. When Mirallas and Geri inevitably get injured, we will have capable backups. This wouldn't be a bad move.

I think Lennon will find games very hard to come by this season

Reading Koeman's comments he seems to want wide players who are versatile and can interchange and play in any of the attacking roles

Lennon is basically terrible in any position other than right wing. I like him, hard-working, lightning quick and a great attitude and more skillful than he gets credit for but I can see the writing on the wall for him here

I can see Lennon featuring as a wing back or an impact sub. He can do a lot for the team defensively.
