Its certainly not unheard of.

They are selling to a club that sells players for 47m and its a fairly cheap purchase price, so seems logical, if true.
Fair enough. I've not heard of one that high myself, but I'm not 'close to the ground' either. ;)

I think that lad who tweeted that is that racist little tit who got banned off here a few weeks ago, he did a similar thing back then, came on here, rubbished all the ITK's - then went back to Twitter and posted it as his own info.

Yep, that's the one.....has a serious fixation with followers of Islam. Some of his Twitter posts have been positively right-wing extremism - I hate the fact he's posting his racist hatred using the Everton name.

i have a theory he sees them as back up strikers, or at least one of them covering that role. save a few million by asking Kev to do the shane long role rather than signing one. that would perhaps explain why we are then signing another winger.
It's Deulofeu who he sees as a backup striker. Koeman loves his pace. I don't think he rates any of them as wingers which is why we are getting replacements for both sides. I also think this was a decision taken after pre-season.

I really do think our "targets" weren't identified until late in pre season and after Walsh arrived and Koeman handed him a list of positions he needed him to fill.

Is everybody convinced that Mirallas has a long term future with us, I am not.
Not convinced but I think he will stay this summer. I think Lennon will go first.

Basically none of them are guaranteed apart from Barkley. I think Koeman recognises he has that little bit of extra quality none of the rest have.

Given the stones sale think A lot of clubs will be eager to get a sell on in there these days given the mark up on prem player fees

Because he's been here 5 years he will be here 3-5 more?

Doubt it.
If he was going to leave he would have done already mate.

Considering how he was treated by martinez and yet here he is for his third manager?

Whatever the reason for it, can't say he isn't loyal to us.

considering he has been here for what, 5 years now?

I'd say yes.
But, not under Koeman. I am not convinced he has, but then my favourite player in the squad is Deulofeu and there are probably question marks over him as well.
I think that workrate , tempo and intensity are the key words under RK and I am not certain it is the strongest suit for either Del or Mirallas.
