This will likely calm down soon enough. Passions may ebb & flow in coming months & years but one thing I do know; UK is headed towards the same social & political situation in France. Same general demographics, same kinda economy, same ethnic tensions, both states quickly running out of money. Whatever happens in France we will not be far behind. Heck depending on the economic situation we may get worse.

Patriotic is being a public servant to a people who despise you and wish you left. Patriotism is looking at these thugs dead in the eye and telling them that they do not define who we are. Being a patriot means loving and respecting the people you share your nation with.
