1) Everton are notoriously slow starters, but this season seems (seemed? - West Brom) to be different. Why so, and do you think you can keep it up?

West Brom have also had a good start to the season. We got caught cold that day, we could have played for 900 minutes and not scored. You have those games sometimes but i'm confident we can push on still.

2) Which of your new signings are you most looking forward to seeing this season?

Kevin Mirallas. First noticed him against Arsenal in the Champions League, looks like he can be a dangerous player, great feet and an eye for goal. I expect him and Naismith to relieve the pressure on Jelavic for goals.

3) What league position do you expect Everton to finish in this season?

If the league pans out like it did last year i don't see why we can't be pushing for a Champions league spot. Realistically i see 6th and the Carling cup as our best outcome.

4) Who are your best 3 players?

Baines,Pienaar,Fellaini. All keep us ticking over in their own ways. Would love to say Jelavic but he feeds off the creativity and skills of all these three players and they in tun go a long way to making Jelavic a better player.

5) Who is your worst player (usually in the starting XI - who we could exploit)?

Worst technically is Phil Neville, but he is no mug. Long range shots from people like Ben Arfa or Cisse could cause Howard some grief going on previous showings.

6) Many Newcastle fans would agree that RB and CB are the positions we need strengthening the most. What are Everton's weak positions?

Right Wing still needs to be properly adressed. A skilful RB would be great too.

7) Newcastle will have to use all the talent in our youth/reserve squads this season. Who are some players to look out for in the future from Everton?

Vellios,Barkley,Gueye,Francisco Junior. All have great basic skill sets and can be great premiership players if harnessed correctly.

8) Which Everton player will cause Newcastle the most problems on Monday night?

Going on his start to the season, Fellaini. But i expect Pienaar to put Jelavic in quite a few times similar to the game at Goodison last season

9) If you could add one current Newcastle player to your team, who would it be and why?

Ben Arfa. Always rated him from his days in France and knew it wouldn't be long until he got the recognition he deserves. Very talented.

10) Pardew has a touchline suspension, our captain and RB are out injured, and there is a doubt over Krul in goal. Anything gone wrong for you in the build up that we can cling on to (injuries)?

Gibson. Astute signing by Everton. Does an unglamorous job in midfield but allows Fellaini to play much more freely. Very important part of our team.

11) Finally, score prediction?

Can see it 1-0 either way.

1) Everton are notoriously slow starters, but this season seems (seemed? - West Brom) to be different. Why so, and do you think you can keep it up?

Well our assistant manager (Steve Round) puts it to working hard during pre-season and training the lads like any other week during the regular season.

However, we have to be realistic with our chances this season - we're still woefully short in certain departments and with the failed signing of Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, it's just compacted the issue even more.

2) Which of your new signings are you most looking forward to seeing this season?

Kevin Mirallas looked like he had a bit about him during his cameo against Villa and West Brom. I understand that the English league is hell of a lot more physical in comparison to the Greek league, so I'm not expecting fireworks 'till later on in the season.

3) What league position do you expect Everton to finish in this season?

Around 6th placed, qualifying for the Europa League would be nice as I miss watching Everton during mid-week.

4) Who are your best 3 players?

Marouane Fellaini

The Belgium has began the season with the look of a man who's got something to prove. Although he had an 'off day' against WBA he's still been one of the best performers in this brief period.

Leighton Baines

One of the countries best left-backs, no doubt. Always looks dangerous on the attack with his perfect-whipped crosses and can also defend as good as anyone else.

Sylvain Distin

Underrated in my books, you Toon fans obviously know him well from his brief spell on loan at Saint James'. Probably the best centerhalf in our squad, completely unbeatable on his day - the true meaning of a defensive brick wall.

5) Who is your worst player (usually in the starting XI - who we could exploit)?

If Darron Gibson is out of contention then it would have to be Phil Neville. He's not bad as a right-back, but with the possible absence of Darron Gibson then he'll probably play in the center of the park.

Too slow and lacks any passing ability to contribute to anything positive.

Expect pointing though, and lots of it.

6) Many Newcastle fans would agree that RB and CB are the positions we need strengthening the most. What are Everton's weak positions?

Our right-back is lack luster in comparison to the rest of the squad, we've only got Tony Hibbert and Phil Neville who can play in that position.

Our central midfield is looking bleak, we tried to sign someone but the guys at FIFA wouldn't allow it to go through - so as I pointed out previously, expect Phil Neville to pop up there.

7) Newcastle will have to use all the talent in our youth/reserve squads this season. Who are some players to look out for in the future from Everton?

Luke Garbutt, Ross Barkley and Shane Duffy all look like decent prospects for the future.

It's whether Moyes is willing to gamble on any of them, it's not like it used to be in 2002 where we lacked any quality which paved the way for Wayne Rooney to hit the scene.

8) Which Everton player will cause Newcastle the most problems on Monday night?

Newcastle look strong in the back, but if Baines can get past the half-way line then expect real problems for you lot on the left.

9) If you could add one current Newcastle player to your team, who would it be and why?

Yohan Cabaye, the little frenchman looks quite the player. Too bad he had that altercation in the final game last season which saw Cahill sent off after the full-time whistle.

We're lacking in the center of the park at the moment, and he'd be the sort of player to pull the strings for us from deep.

Even if he's a bit of a tit.

10) Pardew has a touchline suspension, our captain and RB are out injured, and there is a doubt over Krul in goal. Anything gone wrong for you in the build up that we can cling on to (injuries)?

Purely the fact that Darron Gibson could be out and Neville will probably take his place.

No other worries on our side, the morale is high and Goodison should be rocking.

11) Finally, score prediction?

It's going to be tight.

1-0 to whoever comes out and performs.

Best of luck.

1) Everton are notoriously slow starters, but this season seems (seemed? - West Brom) to be different. Why so, and do you think you can keep it up? Yes we are. Can we keep it up? No. Can we get back on track against the barcodes? Possibly.

2) Which of your new signings are you most looking forward to seeing this season? Mirallas. Potential to be a better version of Michael "Nani" Jackson, and looks sexier than Vellios greased up (for the ladies). Few glimpses of what he can do so far, but I'm looking forward to him hitting his stride.

3) What league position do you expect Everton to finish in this season? Sadly, I'd settle for a UEFA place.

4) Who are your best 3 players? Baines. Fellaini. Jely-one-touch.

5) Who is your worst player (usually in the starting XI - who we could exploit)? Weak at right back to pace and trickery. Have to be combined though, Tony the Shoe doesn't get done by one or the other, generally, but both and he will have trouble.

6) Many Newcastle fans would agree that RB and CB are the positions we need strengthening the most. What are Everton's weak positions? Right side. Right back, right wing (though Mirallas' introduction could change that, I still have nightmares of seeing our shoe-in (excuse pun) right back Seamus playing on the right wing with his head down... or.. even worse, Victor "Oops, I fell over... oops, I fell over again" Anichebe).

7) Newcastle will have to use all the talent in our youth/reserve squads this season. Who are some players to look out for in the future from Everton? Garbutt (Next Bainesy). Duffy (strong CB who reads the game well but can use some distribution improvement, a lot like Jagielka really). Ross Barkley (positive, switches play a lot, likes to play the moneymaker ball like Steven Gerrard, not afraid to have a pop). Hallam Hope (striker) was supposed to be a godsend but hasn't really set the world on fire too much. George Green looks the business but not for a few years yet. I'd like to see Apostolos Vellios get more game time this season, in favour of the aforementioned Anichebe.

8) Which Everton player will cause Newcastle the most problems on Monday night? Fellaini, if he has a good game. Though you should be wary of Jely-one-touch, it's all he needs to do damage.

9) If you could add one current Newcastle player to your team, who would it be and why? Cabaye or Ben Arfa. The latter reminds me of Arteta a bit but seems to struggle for form. The former, despite pushing over a ball boy last season and generally being a bit of a blert, is a great box-to-box midfielder and probably walk into most midfields, maybe barring Man Shitty. I'd also love Tim Krul to replace our own tourettes-sufferer and resident baldy. Safe hands indeed.

10) Pardew has a touchline suspension, our captain and RB are out injured, and there is a doubt over Krul in goal. Anything gone wrong for you in the build up that we can cling on to (injuries)? :D Losing Gibbo and his big spud head is a big blow. He is the engine room for us as it were. Like a cross between Makelele and Lee Carsley, with very slightly more hair and a belly the size of both of them combined.

11) Finally, score prediction? I expect a tight one, so I'm going for a Toffees 2-1 victoire

Additional question at the request of another user: Do you have any funny/witty chants or songs going at the moment? Any favourites? We've terrible chants flying about these days.

Hope these help mate, Q10 gibsons out.

For the song, and to the tune of Can't Take My Eyes Off You (not Volare ffs, always get them mixed up):

Marouane Fellaini, you are the love of my life,
Marouane Fellaini, I'd let you s hag my wife,
Marouane Fellaini...
I WANT CURLY HAIR TOOO!

Nick that from us, did ya? ;)

A few teams sing versions of that, I don't who was the very first.

I could ask ask about if you took EI EI EIO from us? We were singing it when it was the football league. Been a good 15 years since a serious rendition was done though.

Was a joke
