There's a reason he's the central defender of the three with a holding midfielder sitting right in front of him. He honestly should have asked to be played in a holding midfield role about 3 seasons ago and he'd be world class right now imo.

I put money on Croatia to get to the final after the group stages as I was really impressed by them. They've shredded my nerves in the knock-out games. Through on penalties against Denmark and Russia. I wouldn't call either of them class teams.
