I drink in the Anfield Hotel on Church lane near the railway bridge off Walton Lane. Great staff and can always get a pint. Been closed a few times but the original owners just got it back. First time it was open this season was the Chelsea game. Good to have it back as part of my pre-match build up. While it was closed, Taxi Club.

We do that a few times a year. Absolutely brilliant in there, as you said met and got loads of photos with legends over the last few years. Paul runs a great day there, although typically john bailey got pissed and didn't turn up at one last season but still got leathered and had a great day anyway . Would recommend it to anyone, we've signed up for an end of season table for the 30th anniversary of the 87 title win, got in early enough to get a legend on the table with us as well, can't wait

Cheppie everygame apart from our ventures across the road to players, gotta love Mary behind the bar even though she's launched us out of there plenty of times. I blame everton for making me/us drink so much


She does welcome us back the next week though and she gets all the lads a beer in when you come in on the last game of the season
