Andy King's goal against the rs in 78.
Big Biob's 30th against Chelsea
Inchy's header against Soton in 84.
The 5-0 against Utd in 84, eveyone knew we were the mighty blues again.
Tricky's 3rd against Bayern.
The emergence of Wayne Rooney
Every time I reply to a Spaniard who asks me which team I support.

Nice Memory, LCAB.

I didn’t like Heath as a player that much. But for that moment, Inchy, thank you

Treb' , Inchy pre - xmas 84/85 had 12 goals and was England bound . Never quite got it back but did virtually win the 87 title on his own .Plus , I got a pic with him and Sheeds giving the " V's " ( I was in the Kop that day . ) He's an Everton Leg' .

Hmmm. There were a lot in the 80s, but Bob Latchford's 30th league goal of the season against Chelsea in 1978 was great. I was just a little kid back then. Saw it all from the Upper Bullens with my granddad. That was also the first time I saw football violence!

This covers a lot of ground, too many to mention, but I put forward in no discernable order.-

1. Dave Watson vs Liverpool FA cup 5th round 2nd Replay 1991.

2. Wayne Rooney vs Arsenal 2002

3. Matthew Jackson vs Bristol City 1995

4. A 3-0 win at Old Trafford 1992 (can't recall all scorers)

5. The 5-0 demolition of the same opposition 1984.

6. The Ward/Cottee derby game (Grobelaar antics) 1993.

7. The Watford FA cup final 1984

8. Gary Speed vs Liverpool 1996

9. Mike Trebilcock's double vs Sheffield Wednesday 1966.

10. Bob Latchford vs West Ham 1980.

How long do we have?

I also thought it was Boxing Day. But it appears it wasnt.

Are you refering to the 5-0 over the dark forces over the M62.

That was October 1984 if memory serves, one week after the Sharp incident, may be wrong, bit if Correct then even better.

Playing Man U on Boxing Day was once a tradition. I recall one match in the seventies (?) in which they thumped us 6-2. Side had Hill and Macari in it - bad karma...

The 5-0 demolition job took place in sunshine on 27th October 1984

The return later that season was a 1-1 at Old Trafford with Mountfield scoring from a corner, but Steven had been hit by a coin thrown by some moron.

It's still going on today, just as well they didn't have cellphones back then.

According to the OS, we played Man U 3 days after the 5-0 job at OT and won again - I have no memory of this though

The 3-0 at O.T. Was MoJo and Bob the Pole 2 , as I recall .
The 6-2 was a Boxing Day , it was in the middle of the " Winter of Discontent " , and there was a power cut , which led to Billy Butler's faux pas , re ; Everton's first (real) black player , Cliff Marshall , whom was ( unusually ) playing that day .
McCari scored an overhead kick in the St. End goal , as I remember .
Latch W Ham '80 , a diving header ???? ( Or was that QPR 3 years earlier ??? )
