So Tottenham basically had 3 months to get everyone fit?
I'd be fuming if i was a fan of any side that concede a goal scored by Harry kane who was originally ruled out for the rest of the season with injury

Oh I agree there mate. Greed it is.
It’s always been a financial necessity to return for all the clubs that’s why no owners have objected, the premier league should have been ringfencing a certain percentage of tv rights money for years for any such financial collapse , pandemics , grass roots football inc non league instead of giving agents and players ammunition in there negotiating stances as they are well aware when clubs have new riches .

Think Rashford is fit again after being ruled out for rest of season too.

Unfair advantage? Wonder if there's grounds for litigation from clubs directly affected by it?
Surely for the integrity of the league any players unavailable for the original fixtures shouldn't be allowed to play right?

Swings and roundabouts.
We have more home games than away games left so we have lost the home advantage of a home crowd and those games are against some of the harder teams who we have already played away like Arsenal, Man Utd and Leicester so they have come out well in comparison in that they all had the home crowd behind them and we got only 1 point out of 9.
We also have a tricky game against West Ham, (cos they hate us,) and Everton.

United still have to play the bottom sides.
You would indeed be fuming if Rashford slotted a hat trick against you in a game that should have been played weeks ago.

Fans or kane, son,Alli, moura etc?

West Ham team always give us a much harder game than their constant lowly position suggests they should.

Premier League Shareholders today agreed to a new provisional restart date for the 2019/20 season of Wednesday 17 June, provided that all safety requirements are in place.

Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Manchester City v Arsenal, postponed due to the EFL Cup final, will now take place on 17 June, followed by a full match round beginning on Friday 19 June.

Due to COVID-19, matches will take place behind closed doors.

Shareholders also approved a proposal that would see all 92 remaining matches broadcast live in the UK by the League’s existing broadcast partners: Sky Sports, BT Sport, BBC Sport and Amazon Prime.

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters said: "Today we have provisionally agreed to resume the Premier League on Wednesday 17 June.

"But this date cannot be confirmed until we have met all the safety requirements needed, as the health and welfare of all participants and supporters is our priority.

"Sadly, matches will have to take place without fans in stadiums, so we are pleased to have come up with a positive solution for supporters to be able to watch all the remaining 92 matches.

"The Premier League and our clubs are proud to have incredibly passionate and loyal supporters. It is important to ensure as many people as possible can watch the matches at home.

"We will continue to work step-by-step and in consultation with all our stakeholders as we move towards resuming the 2019/20 season."

The planned kick-off times in the UK for live matches will also differ from the traditional times.

Scheduled kick-off times
Weekend matches will be scheduled as follows (all times BST):

Friday 20:00
Saturday 12:30, 15:00, 17:30 and 20:00
Sunday 12:00, 14:00, 16:30 and 19:00
Monday 20:00

Midweek matches will be scheduled as follows (all times BST):
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 18:00 and 20:00

The game was up a few weeks back when we learnt yes they are that silly. My conscience is clear as even if we were top of the league I'd still want the league canned. I wouldn't be happy about it but understand it is for the best.

Just got to hope now no one gets injured through lack of preseason or gets the virus while playing that ruins any careers and there aren't spikes in the general population from any celebrations.

It was never in any doubt in my mind.

Even if the league had finished they would have been declared champions. Null and void would have been hilarious but was extremely remote at best. Not sure it would even have been considered tbh
Ah well, you draw some, you lose some.

Hang on, wait, what. So teams are still showing positive cases, have only just agreed to start contact training, some players are opting out, but are going to be ready to play a 90 min PL-level match in 20 days? lol
