Mate, what really is unfair is that 28000 people (and that figure is rising by over five Hillsboroughs per day) won't be alive to see another sunrise. Football needs to pipe down, sort its shizzle out behind closed doors, then do wha tit can to HELP the situation the rest of the world is trying to address.
Why is that a reply to mine, did you read my post?
I expressed pretty much those sentiments you express above, saying its only 'unfair' in football terms.Oliver Holt said in his article voiding was unfair, I am not Oliver Holt.
To quote my post
"Oliver is letting his heart rule his head, he wrote last week how grossly unfair voiding is, especially in denying Liverpool (and Leeds). I very much agree (in football terms),
but there may be a far bigger picture outside this football bubble
"but there's a much bigger real life context to this. Football just doesn't really matter in this situation"
To make it absolutely clear I think football exists within a totally self centred bubble of self interest, and is showing an absolutely wreckless attitude trying to restart a completely unimportant activity while people are still desperately trying to stop people dying with a worldwide pandemic a million times more important.
Frank Lampard expresses concerns as to who and what really matters, he shows concerns about why does football even matter
just to repeat...
i am not Oliver Holt
