Why are Gary Neville and Jamie ‘spitter’ Carragher the oracle of all things coronavirus in football? Sick of the pair of them.
I just read about Neville championing a nine-week holiday abroad for the footballers in a "safe country" so that they can complete the season there - while the rest of the UK struggles to pay the bills after being laid off work! Talk about living in a different world, unreal. And Carragher should not be allowed to open his mouth at all about the topic.

Just void the season and we go again next season whenever that's gonna be,who seriously wants to watch a game on tv anyways with noone in the stadium.

They cannot justify continuing with the premier League. Football is irrelevant currently. They're only worried about having to pay TV revenues money back. It's all business.

They’d love that because it would open the door to start playing Premier League games abroad.

There is always a money making agenda with the ex-Man Utd/Liverpool players. They’re briefed on what to say by the clubs to make more money.

Hasnt he appointed himself the global expert on Covid cos he knows someone who might have had it?

What's mad is we have schools shut, frontline staff not tested, jobs under threat and lives at risk but all the Premier League want is football back.

Our Government is bad enough but if they clear it for the league to go ahead after putting us under lockdown for weeks and the threat of a second wave, I honestly I think I might be done with football.

Void the league for sanity's sake

I expect, even in the absolute miniscule chance of them trying to restart this nonsense season, many players will refuse. They won't want to risk the lives of themselves and their families.

As it stands they can stay silent. No need to speak out as the season is cancelled currently.

To have a contact sport, with high risk of injuries, players sweating and spitting etc.
It is just a total non starter. It would smack in the face of all the hard work that the NHS have done, with lives lost in the process, to keep us safe.

Not sure how Sky and the BBC are going to push this as the greatest league title triumph in the history of world football. How a team who hasn't spent a pound, dared to dream and somehow won the title against all the odds. A succession of VAR related goals against their main rivals and the ending being somewhat of a damp squib won't make the highlights package much of a watch..
They've started already working on that tbh. BBC news item this morning about the FA meeting, went straight to a load of rs footage of banner waving etc, so I muted the TV, went and got a cuppa, came back, literally to even more rs slo-mo footage, of Klopp punching the air. Then I think a 2 second shot of an Arsenal player before the item finished, presumably for 'balance'.

Anyone thinking this entire debacle is not rs based and will not be spun as a total rs victory is deluded. Whoever said earlier that the only position awarded across all the leagues will be rs as league champs is dead, dead right. And there will be no asterisk, no chance.

It's the cricket season ffs. If anything should restart, its cricket. And that isn't going to happen, nor should it.

Football? Irrelevant right now.

Probably the only sport where you actually have social distancing

Thats it! Your a genius. They could finish the season by playing each other at cricket.

Prob a couple of small rule changes required (positioning of the wicket keeper etc).
