Aguero speaking out with concerns now too
Waking finally up to the most important part in this whole equation - the players - only the rs and maybe a handful of other teams have any motivation to risk their health and the health of their families to end this joke.
Potentially 92 half ars'd friendlies with many players pulling out does not constitute to a legitimate end to a football season.
Put a fork in it it's done.....

I read that on the beeb today too - they casually dropped in that its the fans that want football back.

Do they? Don't most of the sensible ones have other priorities right now? It's the media beneficiaries who want it back, and the rs at the beeb using their position to influence opinion. Comments like that should only be borne of investigative journalism with data to back it up. A survey ffs - rather than thrown in as an opinion in a national media outlet.

Golf mate. I think they are in talks in the next week or so to look at opening golf courses back up. One of the easiest games to self distance in.
Quite true. The few times I've played golf I always used a different fairway to my competitors. I underwent a bitter divorce with the game (irreconcilable differences between where I wanted the ball to go and there the club wanted it).

Recent reports were stating that the rest of the team didnt have to isolate. That would put a team, especially one fighting relegation, at a massive disadvantage. But also, imagine what would be going through the other players heads? Would they be able to focus properly in the game or would they be worried they might have it.

The relegation threatened clubs should be fighting these proposals at all costs as they are the ones with most to lose. Imagine West Ham for instance, with the ricidulous fixture list they have already proving an obstacle, to then lose 5 of their best players for a few weeks. They wouldnt stand a chance.

Makes sense. So you'd have a squad of players, taking it home to their families then passing it on to another squad of players who'll do the same....

There's absolutely no chance of any football in June in a country who have dealt so disastrously with the disease so far.

I bet more than a few Liverpool players have big doubts about wanting to play. Whether they'd voice them publicly is another matter.
