Profile visitor messages awaiting approval

I've got 4 profile visitor messages awaiting approval. So what's all that about? Am I being spammed or something?

Ive got these now, how do you get rid of them? They are cracking me up.

If you press User CP they're just sitting there. When you click on them, it just takes you to user control panel. But you can't read the message.
