Printer with Vista

Anyone know why the hell I can't get this Vista PC to work with my HP1320 laserjet printer? I downloaded the drivers, but it won't print. It says it's printing, just nothing comes out.

The printer worked fine on my Mac and on another PC which I don't have access to.

It's so complicated.

Vista really sucks. The Apple computer was a dream, but it's broken now (lasted 8 years).

But here is the weird thing. My wife has an XP PC, and the printer worked on that. Then one day it stopped working. I don't know why. I tried downloading the drivers, but still nothing.

Then, she had a computer running XP that is for use by dyslexic kids at her school. I tried that, and it worked!! But now a kid at her school has that computer.

Vista ruins everything, it deleted my laptop speaker drivers! Grr. Reformatted and reinstalled said drivers, perfecto

Don't reformat....it is just a printer. Do things like check the cartridges, download the latest drivers then uninstall the current drivers and install the new ones. Try it on a different computer, see if you can isolate it to being a problem with the printer or not.

Reformatting is the last resort, but shouldn't be needed.

Also, how does it connect??? Via PS/2 port or via USB?? If it is USB, try plugging it into a different USB port.
