Realistically speaking, if there's a civil judgment against him the royals will pay up. It probably won't get that far. Odds are they'll settle.

If a US court convicts him, your government will probably tell us to come get him if we want him that badly. We won't, so he probably won't be prosecuted. It looks bad when we have to admit that there's someone above the law in our justice system, and worse when it's an ally.
