Do you guys think VDM could play a part this season? Hows he looked?

He hasn't done anything wrong but he hasn't seen enough of the ball. When he'd had it he's calmed us down and kept possession and he's actually covered his fullback for once.

I do think he will contribute but only as a squad player. He'd be a useful option from the bench aswell. He's got a long way to go though. If he keeps his head down and works on his fitness he'll be fine.

Ok, flashes of decency, am sure with a run of games he'll become a good player.

I'd like to see Arteta get 45 minutes. Bring him on for Gosling and play him centre midfield. Watch him run the game.

as the pre season continues we should really start weaning them out of the side.
