League - 7th

FA Cup - Quarter-final exit to a "top 6" team

League Cup - 4th round exit to a bottom half Premier League team

Europa - 2nd knock-out round exit to a Spanish team

Final League Position: 7th. 6th if we sign a decent striker.
FA Cup:Quarters
League Cup: 4th round
Europa: Quarters

...early signings were encouraging but early performances a little disappointing. Much depends on whether the Manager can get the right blend. The signings are his, the team is his and we can now say he's accountable. Who knows if it'll take a Kevin Brock moment but at this stage we look like we'll struggle to create.

I'm looking at us getting 40 points. Christmas is the real indicator, 20 points and we should be safe, 25+ is positively interesting on a sliding scale. I'll settle for 7th from what I've seen so far.

What about the cups Eggs?I think we we will get to at least a final in one of them.

...why not? I always think a Cup side need a bit of fortune (luck of the draw) and stickability (grit). I think it's very early to judge this team/squad, especially as there are likely to be further additions but a Cup Final win is something achievable.

I may have misread your original post on where we will finish, but suggesting we should aim for 40 points makes it sound like we are in danger of being relegated lol. We are comfortably better than basically every team who finished below us last season.

Mcnulty at his best...

Everton
This season: 7th
Last season: 7th

Everton are a club on the move under manager Ronald Koeman and major shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

On the move, eh?

Jumping up and down on the spot is technically moving.

6th - 4 points off 4th
Europa League - beaten quarter finalists
League Cup - knocked out early
FA Cup - minimum of finalists, possibly winners.

..I really find it hard to predict at this stage, so many new players to bed in and we look some way off getting the right blend. Hopefully we'll have a couple more coming in. Consequently, I'm just wanting us to get to 40 points in the first instance.

My benchmark is 20 points at Christmas, which is normally an indicator that we will just about be safe. 25 points is interesting and anything above that is very positive.
