All noises seem to point to it being the one striker, we have hardly been linked with anyone up front mate. Del is a decent backup as a striker but he is clearly a winger, his finishing isn't good enough to play as a regular striker imo. I think Taarashaj is a more of a Barkley role type player. I just think if we got one striker in and Lukaku got a bad injury we would be hugely reliant on the "new striker" to hit the ground Running.

And nah, Tarashaj isn't a Barkley player. He's genuinely Naismith mark 2.

On your last point, that's why you go for proven quality imo.

We haven't got European games to think about this year, but as such it does become harder to get two quality forward's in who aren't going to be guaranteed starters. One is just about manageable...

We so desperatly need a Pienaar player to proper utilise Leighton. Otherwise hes wasted on the left. Otherwise we look pretty solid but will get ripped apart with better teams.....e.g Tottenham first game.

Otherwise, Davies looks a propper player, Skelling..er..burg looks ok as keeper, Gerri is a right winger playing Cf but full of pace. We need ideas up front...again Ross is looking clueless unless a clear cut chance appears....we need clever players !!! Daft skillfull ones win nowt.
