.....I mentioned after the last game, it's ok wanting more from your defensive midfielders but it can leave the back four exposed. The no9 dropping into little pockets 'between the lines' as RM used to say. We might be looking at a new system with the old players.

Looks like we're playing 4-2-3-1 but tbh think we'd be much better off switching to a 4-3-3/4-1-4-1.

We just seem to regress a bit into the RM style playing with this system, whereas when we play the 4-3-3 with Barks a bit deeper we look the business.
