I would not believe anything written about news from inside the club when both Mosh and Bill are seeding journos with there own narrative.

Sure a reasonable proportion of the delay in getting a manager was down to Bill handing the prospective managers a handful of werther's originals and regaling them with tales of corrie, the boys pen, blues brothers etc at every meeting.

No chance Bill is in poor health, and has made well, he celebrated all the goals far more than the rest sat around him last night - expect him to just get a honary role in the future as we hopefully develop with our new ground etc!

Kenwright and Elstone are being pushed to the side. Moshiri, Walsh and Ryasantsev are our new powerbrokers.

Dont know how to read it if am honest, on one side am thinking its been briefed that they are starting to be phased out, and on the other more cynical side of me I read it as its been put out by Kenwright to put the blame on the others for whats seen as a relatively unpopular choice.

Thats 100% clear, I mean, I read it as Kenwright saying "look its nothing to do with me or Bobby, tell them who drove this recruitment so when it F's up it doesnt come back on me".

It does seem that the element of panic behind Allardyce coming in was largely down to Moshiri from what I deduced from reading various bits.

Either way, this manager "search" and appointment, and the car crash that is non-communication at the club reflects very badly on ALL of them.

I now have serious concerns with Moshiri and his ability to deliver going forward, including on the stadium. Barely a day went by recently when we weren't referred to as a "shambles" in the national media and amongst commentators.

The same problems remain - a divided board equates to a handicapped, directionless organisation. It may only be fair to properly judge Moshiri when both Kenwright and Elstone have departed, but even then, some of his solo runs recently do not inspire confidence in any way at all.

I think the idea that had a lot of credence up to now - that all will be well when Moshiri has full control is questionable to say the least. When this struggle is over and he can plough his own furrow, he most certainly needs to surround himself with seasoned football business, commercial, and communications professionals, and let them run the club. His unfortunate and totally inapppropriate reliance on Jim White suggests that might be asking for too much.
